Join Sunrise Village and DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network) for Purple Light Nights®, a community event held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Together, we will shine a light on domestic violence, honor those whose lives have been lost, stand with survivors and remind anyone experiencing abuse that they are not alone.
The evening begins outside Waxing the City, our official starting point, where guests can check in, pick up purple SWAG and learn more about DAWN’s work helping survivors gain safety, stability and hope.
Event Schedule
5:30 PM: Check-in and community gathering
6:00 PM: 1K awareness walk through Sunrise Village
6:30 PM: Purple Light Nights reflections
7:00 PM: Event concludes
The walk is open to all ages, and pets are welcome. Please be prepared to clean up after your pet.
Registration is free. Participants may also make an optional contribution to support DAWN’s services for survivors and families.
